Our first Beta Group in English: Finale

As you already know, the Neon Knights left standing after the jousting craze of last week (Bedivere and Sirt Tunasub) must face each other in a singular joust to decide the winner of the Tournament of the Kingdom of Computonia. But this time their weapons won't be spears, but verses and rhymes!

First, Bedivere recites this Haiku, short but loaded with power and depth:

菜の花や
月は東に
日は西に

Which, in Computonish (also known as English), reads as:

"The Rapeseed(Brassica napus) flower,
The moon in the eastern sky,
the sun in the west."





After him, Sir Tunasub continues with a full-lenth poem-song:

Here I stand, a knight of all kingdoms, a protector of all souls.

Here I stand, molded by metal, from head to toe
If thy shall say, you shall pray to dream another day.

I crave...
I wish to be brave

Afraid.
Cornered by the stresses of life
Only waiting for thy next quest
Quest...
Quest...

Please pray for my best

I will never feel cold from the night
I will never fold as a knight
I will be known as green eyed knight

Beware
Beievere, the One Armed Knight

As my eyes glow neon through the night

Beware
Bedievere, the One Armed Knight
As you might become the Armless knight

Oh King Computon
I shall leave you my fate
I shall rest my sword in wait
Wait and wait I shall
Waiting for my fate



After listening to both compositions, and still aching and lying on bed on the the infirmary, the rest of Neon Knights deliberates on the winner. After much waving, shouting, and creating general hubbub, the Neon Knights vote and ...

Thus, this Mighty Beta ends with Sir Tunasub leveling up to Level 3 (although this removes all the Chivalry Points he kept from leveling up to level 2). The final Ranking is, then:

  1. Sir Tunasub from the lands of Anita Dump with Level 3 (keeping 0 Chivalry Points)
  2. Horde, the luckiest knight with Level 2 (keeping 7 Chivalry Points)
  3. Sigurd, the King Slayer with Level 2 (keeping 3 Chivalry Points)
  4. Sir Canto the Battlemage wiith to Level 2 (keeping 2 Chivalry Points)
  5. Bedivere, the One Armed with Level 2 (keeping no points)
  6. Bitman remains in Level 1 (keeping no points)

We want to thank you very much for participating in this Neon Knights Beta Group. We've learned a ton about the type of game we want to create, and most of all, we've had a ton of fun (and we hope you have too!)
